HAWAI’I HANDSHAPES
All Hawai’i orders are hand shaped on the island of Kauai.
Orders are open year-round and can be shipped inter-island or picked up at my shop on island - I can not ship internationally or to the mainland from Hawai’i.
I like to reach out about your order’s details when I’m a week or two from shaping your board - so once your deposit is placed if you need to get a hold of me or my team feel free to email lovelacesurfcraft@gmail.com.
Turnaround time and price varies depending on your order, clear glass jobs and simple stringers get done much quicker and easier. Larger boards, more specific color and stringers add time. Average timing is 12-18 weeks depending - very often more with color tints, abstract resin work, EPS foam and/or custom stringers.
Please be advised that since we have minimal infrastructure on-island for production board building, that timelines can change drastically throughout the year and board to board, I can only handle about 5-8 boards at a time in my small shop, and I get blanks by barge every few weeks, so wait times can be long. If you need a board for a trip or something like that, please email us and we’ll see if we can meet your needs!

Orders built for and in Hawai’i can be picked up on Kauai, or shipped inter-island.
Timing can vary and is dependent on your board, but wait times are usually less than mainland orders. Custom glass options are more limited; stringers and complex glass work (resin stripes, wild abstract stuff, resin panels and flowers) are not as readily available, but we’ll talk through details if need.
Shipping inter-island is about $80 per board.
