Flower Inlays 2020-2023
I build a handful of inlayed boards every year, the flowers are collected from our neighborhood and pressed at home before being inlayed under fiberglass. They are inspired by Hawaiian quilts and my wife, Katie, who teaches me to look beyond the immediate. The process is tedious and I always find the results captivating & worthwhile. I tend not to take excessive orders for these and build them during the winters in Hawai’i - if you would like one, feel free to contact me and I can fill you in on any that are in the works.
